The hardness tester is an instrument for measuring the hardness of an object. According to the complexity, it can be divided into two types: a simple hardness tester and a complex hardness tester. The hardness tester has different hardness testers according to different classifications.
1. Hardness tester by name
(1) Shore hardness tester: used to determine the Shore hardness value of ferrous and non-ferrous metals;
(2) Brinell hardness tester: used for measuring the Brinell hardness value of workpieces with higher hardness;
(3) Leeb hardness tester: used for all metals, convenient for difficult to enter or limited space testing sites;
(4) Shore hardness tester: used for measuring the Shore hardness value of rubber products;
(5) Rockwell hardness tester: Rockwell hardness value measurement for workpieces such as cast iron
(6) Barcol hardness tester: used for measuring the Barcol hardness value of glass fiber reinforced plastic products.
(7) Vickers hardness tester: measurement of Vickers hardness value for thinner workpieces;
(8) Webster hardness tester: used for measuring the Vickers hardness value of aluminum alloy products;

(2) Benchtop hardness tester;
(3) Portable hardness tester (portable hardness tester): for installed mechanical or permanent assembly parts, etc.
(4) Ultrasonic hardness tester: used for molds and sheets; surface hardened teeth and gears, etc.
3. Hardness tester by material
(1) Rubber hardness tester: used to determine the hardness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products;
(2) Metal hardness tester for Rockwell hardness testing of hard alloys, carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, etc.;
(3) Fruit hardness tester: used to measure the hardness of various fruits such as apple, pear, watermelon and banana.
