1. When the Rockwell hardness tester is not used for a long time, cover the machine with a dust cover.
       2. Regularly inject a small amount of oil into the contact surface between the lead screw (26) and the hand wheel (27).
       3. Before using the Rockwell hardness tester, wipe the top surface of the lead screw (26) and the upper end surface of the workbench.
       4. If the hardness indication error is found to be large: 1 Take down the workbench to check whether the contact surface with the screw is clean; 2 Check if the screw protection sleeve is jacked up; 3 Check if the pressure head is damaged.
       5. If the main test force is applied, the indicator hand starts to rotate very quickly and then slowly rotates to indicate that there is too little oil in the buffer. At this time, the felt pad at the upper end of the buffer can be picked up and the clean 20# oil is slowly injected. At the same time, the handle is pulled a plurality of times, so that the piston moves up and down a plurality of times to completely remove the air in the buffer until the oil overflows from the top when the piston sinks to the bottom.
       6. Regularly check the accuracy of the hardness tester with the standard hardness block carried by the machine. 1 Wipe the workbench and the standard hardness block on the hardness block working surface and never test it on the bearing surface. 2 If the indication value is large, check whether the standard hardness block bearing surface has burrs except for the fourth item in this section. If there is burr, apply oil stone to light. 3 When testing at different positions of the standard hardness block, the hardness block should be dragged on the workbench and should not be taken off the workbench.
        7. The instrument should be periodically checked and periodically verified.
